What is ScriptEeze Batch Utility?

ScriptEeze is a tool that can increase your productivity on CAD ten-fold! It allows you to automate repetitive tasks on groups of drawings, and performs those tasks in a fraction of the time that it would take you to do them yourself. The best part is that ScriptEeze was designed to run unattended, so you can be doing all of these repetitive and monotonous tasks without even being there! ScriptEeze is the most versatile and customizable batch processor available.

ScriptEeze will process:

- AutoCAD drawing files (*.dwg)
- AutoCAD template drawing files (*.dwt)
- DXF files (*.dxf)
- Drawing Web Format (*.dwf) (Voloview only)
- Image file formats support by AutoCAD

ScriptEeze supports the following CAD programs:

- AutoCAD r13-2005
- AutoCAD LT 97-2005
- IntelliCAD 2000-2004
- Voloview (Print only)

You can process drawings using either script files, LISP program files or a combination of both. Multiple scripts and/or lisps can be assigned to each drawing. Have a single assignment process all the drawings in the list or assign a unique script/lisp file to each drawing in the list.

ScriptEeze also reduces the room for error when performing repetitive tasks. Once you have decided what exactly needs to be done to a set of drawings and instructed ScriptEeze to do it, you can be sure that it will be done exactly the same way for each and every drawing. There is always room for human error if you change each drawing yourself.

What does ScriptEeze Batch Utility really do?

Well, it is really quite simple. ScriptEeze takes a list of AutoCAD drawing files and opens each in AutoCAD. For each drawing that is opened, ScriptEeze runs a script or a lisp file or a combination of both in the order assigned.

ScriptEeze continues to open each drawing, waiting for AutoCAD to close before opening the next drawing, until every drawing in the list has been processed. This process can either take place in a single session of AutoCAD or a new session of AutoCAD for each drawing. Meanwhile, ScriptEeze keeps track of the process so it can generate a detailed log file, enabling you to monitor the batch process without even being there!
